Position Summary:

The Seasonal Automotive Sales Assistant supports the sales team by managing customer outreach, coordinating appointments, and assisting in the sales process from initial contact through delivery. This role is highly activity-driven and requires strong communication skills, organization, and a proactive approach to lead engagement and customer follow-up. This position is ideal for college students wishing to expand their business acumen. It pays $16/ hour with a bonus of $25 for each appointment shown and is designed to work with a college schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound and inbound customer communications via phone, text, email, and video
  • Qualify leads and identify customer needs
  • Schedule and confirm sales appointments for the showroom team
  • Send personalized vehicle walkaround videos and follow-ups
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system
  • Assist sales consultants with deal preparation and documentation
  • Follow up with unsold prospects and previous customers
  • Support marketing campaigns and lead generation efforts
  • Complete Honda Certification
  • Complete Vern Eide sale training program

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Daily Activity Targets:
    • Outbound Calls Made: 60–50 per day
    • Appointments Set: 3–5 per day
    • Videos Sent to Customers: 5–10 personalized videos per day
  • Sales Performance Targets:
    • Vehicles Sold (Assisted or Direct): 8–15 per month
    • Appointment Show Rate: 50%+
    • Lead Response Time: Within 10–15 minutes
    • Customer Follow-Up Completion Rate: 95%+

Requirements:

  • Weekend and evening availability

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with a professional demeanor
  • Ability to handle high call volumes and multitask effectively
  • Basic knowledge of automotive products and sales processes (preferred)
  • Experience with CRM systems and digital communication tools
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven attitude
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

  • High school diploma or equivalent (college degree is a plus).
